Why Market on Facebook?

Why Facebook?

You simply can’t run out of prospects and potential customers because Facebook provides you with an abundant number of users every day. If you run out of local prospects then there’s still an international crowd waiting for you. Just utilize your free time and dedicate it to finding prospects.

1) Use Your Personal Profile

A business page can work great for certain business types, but if you’re in direct sales, MLM, network marketing they’re a people businesses. You’re there to build relationships and you want people to relate to you, like you and trust you.

The first step to recruiting on Facebook is to use your personal page to interact with people. You have lots of personal connections there such as your friends, family, colleagues or anyone who you have an association with.

2) Create Curiosity

You want to create a page where people look at you and ask “‘what the heck are they doing?” You are ultimately selling a lifestyle, so when you are shown to be having fun and hanging out with great people, that’s when you become attractive and are able to recruit prospects.

So be focused on what you’re doing. Focus on what you promote and what your business represents. You can also post images and personal pictures with an inspirational quote on it.

Post something that will make people curious about you. Curiosity is the best thing that can happen in someone’s mind. Because with that, they will start exploring. So if you create or post something that will make people curious, there’s no doubt that they will dig in and ask you about it.

3) Connect, Connect, Connect

Apart from getting in touch with your long distance friends and relatives, use Facebook as a means to reach out to some people who are also hungry for whatever it is that you’re seeking. Utilize Facebook as a business resource which will help bridge people and create a connection.

4) Posting

How to Recruit Prospects on FacebookYou should be posting great information. Share something inspirational or maybe even specific tips that will help people with their business. Ideally, you need to post something every day as a means to get curiosity out of prospects and motivate some of your fellow team members.

The best way to stay in touch with prospects is to share something meaningful every day. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a quote or a business tip, as long as you make your online presence be felt. This is what Karin has been doing most of the time when she’s online.

5) Be Authentic

If you want to be effective at recruiting for your network marketing business on Facebook then it’s critical that you are authentic. Be yourself in a way that people will look at you as an expert for whatever it is that you’re trying to be. Being real to yourself will surely show people that you are trustworthy both as a person and as a professional.

To gain the trust of people, you need to be yourself at all times. This is one way that will surely attract them into the opportunity and become a part of your team. But make sure to show them that you are capable of being a good leader at the same time.

6) Brand Yourself

Giving value orientated information which will make people see you as an expert. You can find different ways to do this without posting blatant sales messages. Place your focus on sharing tips and advice to help people in your niche.

As much as people do business with people they know, like and trust, the other important factor is having a sense of authority. You can have a close relationship with someone built on trust, but if they don’t perceive you as knowledgeable, and someone who can help them succeed in the business, they are unlikely to join you.

7) Create a Team Facebook Group

The final step of the MLM recruiting formula is to create a Facebook group. This group will help you recruit and plan out strategies with your team members. It is a perfect way to discuss almost anything and be in touch with everyone else in your team.

Like any network marketing professional, you WILL need to learn some skills to achieve success in your small business.

The more you educate yourself about network marketing, the more likely you will have massive success in achieving the residual income you desire for your family and your future.

Unlike most high paying professions like a doctor or lawyer, you will NOT need a large amount of money for your education, yet the network marketing professional can create a greater income for themselves than virtually any other profession.

Below are a few marketing tips to get the most out of your network marketing small business. Make sure you apply ALL of the following advice to maximize your results.

To BEGIN…

People Don’t Join a Business – They Join YOU!

TIP #1 Approach your network marketing business as a way of helping people rather than selling them on your “Can’t Live Without” product. If you go in with the thought process of Educating your readers, your business will flourish. Focus on the person and how you can help solve the issues he or she is facing.
If you happen to have a website for your business, make sure it is full of value and education as if you were teaching the reader about your company through an online tutorial.

Additionally, you must make this value clear to the reader so that they can understand what your product is that you are marketing. Giving value along with step by step educational procedures in your small business will offer return visitors and loyal followers.

My goal and yours should be to become an Alpha-Networker, a leader in your company for others to follow, which of course will cause an increase in your bank account balances.

TIP #2 While speaking with a prospect, make sure to ask questions and encourage the person to share more about themselves. This will help you understand their position and how you can best help him with your opportunity.
The Network Marketing Pro Will NOT Pitch Their Product or Small Business Opportunity

After studying successful people in small business, I have discovered that successful network marketers build relationships, they build friendships. Their goal was NOT to immediately recruit their prospects.

If you focus on getting customers or a new distributor for your product, you will be disappointed… you will find your prospects running the other way.

The network marketing professional’s objective is to educate their prospects on what they have to offer and then let them decide for themselves if it is something they wanted to do… it needs to be their idea to join your home-based business.

When the timing is right, the professional marketer will invite a prospect to do one of two things based on the individual prospect’s situation.

1: If the professional marketer feels it is warranted, the marketer might invite the prospect to a 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 meeting with another member of the team.

He might invite the prospect for a three-way phone conversation, a small group presentation in their home or an online Webinar.

The professional marketer understands that the personal interaction is a critical component when it comes to building trust, so the pro will connect with people as often as possible. This is an element of ‘Social Proof’.
On the other hand, if you invite a potential recruit to a meeting, and it takes longer than one hour to explain your small business opportunity, the inevitable conclusion that your prospect will draw is that joining your business would be very time-intensive causing them to think twice about your opportunity.
2: Another choice for the marketer would be to invite the prospect to review a tool, whether that means to listen to a CD, watch a video presentation, look at a magazine, website etc… the professional marketer will allow the tool to do the work for them.

Using a marketing tool is a great way for people to become educated and hopefully excited while right in the middle of their busy lives. The prospect may not have time to drive across town to meet, but he can find the time to listen to a CD, read a magazine, watch a short DVD or an online presentation.
If the person is showing an interest, but still is in need of more information, or has questions, this might be the perfect opportunity to incorporate Number 1 from above.
For building a large organization with your home-based business opportunity, it has been found that using the tool for presenting your product or opportunity is the better approach for the first exposure.

Closing Comments About Inviting Prospects Into Your Home-Based Business

Different home-based companies use different tools and events to grow their marketing business. Find what works best for your particular company, develop a daily method that works, then train your people how to effectively do the same… DUPLICATION BABY!

Remember that network marketing is a business and you have to treat it as such. You must realize that network marketing is NOT a get rich over night venture.

To be a successful network marketer, you must be willing and dedicated to put in the time and work necessary to help others succeed, which will put you on a fast-track to a rewarding future.

FINAL TIP: A genuine desire to help others succeed is important to be successful in network marketing. Crossing over the threshold of a network marketing professional, with the desire of ‘Paying it Forward’ will help your profits

The Four Basic Network Marketing Rules for Success

Below you will find 4 ‘Live By’ rules that are being taught by leading income earners in network marketing today and, if followed, you will see your business soar to new heights.

Rule Number One – Detach Yourself from the Outcome

You MUST emotionally detach yourself from the outcome of your presentation to your prospect. If you took any marketing tips away from the previous article, you will have learned that if you go in with the thought process of Education and Understanding, your business will flourish.

Many people are skeptics by nature. If you disconnect your emotions from the outcome and concentrate on education and understanding, everything will get much more simple for you. By understanding that you have no idea what their circumstances may be, accepting the outcome without emotion is a big plus.

If you focus on getting that customer or new distributor of your small business product, you will be disappointed and find your prospects running the other direction.

TIP: Our job is to act like consultants offering suggestions on how people can live a better life. If you focus on education and understanding, you will have fun and your prospects will enjoy the experience.
Rule Number Two – Be Yourself

Be yourself… “Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.” ~ Judy Garland

Many people find themselves becoming a different person when it comes to inviting a potential prospect to hear about their opportunity. This can have an adverse affect, making others uncomfortable. Just be yourself, just work on being your best self.

Rule Number Three – Have Passion in What You Do

Have some passion in what you do. Having enthusiasm can be contagious… people love to be around the positive, enthusiastic, loving life type of person.

It is perfectly OK to get a little bit fired up when speaking to people… heck, I have seen many people sign up in a person’s business due to the enthusiasm that the presenter portrayed. Be sure not to go overboard and scare people with your enthusiasm; stay focused.

When speaking to a person over the phone, there will be a whole new set of etiquette rules. The minute you pick up the phone, your tone of voice and the words you use will become the entire story. Having some enthusiasm will help get your message across… after all, your entire conversation will be communicated through your tone of voice.

TIP: Smile when you are on the phone. I assure you, your positive emotion will translate into better results. Smiling helps your voice to sound friendly, warm, and receptive.
– – – Some telemarketing companies are so convinced of the value of smiling when talking on the phone that they have installed mirrors above the telemarketers’ desks to remind them to smile.

Rule Number Four – Have a Strong Posture

Have a strong posture. In my opinion, Rule #1, emotionally detaching yourself from the outcome, and having posture go hand in hand. Having a strong posture is one’s inability to be discouraged or swayed. It’s inability to be affected by those that are negative about the network marketing opportunity being presented to them.

“To acquire true self power you have to feel beneath no one, be immune to criticism and be fearless.” ~ Deepak Chopra

If you are easily discouraged by a person in regards to your small business opportunity, it means that you lack a strong posture.

If you have ever watched a professional network marketer, you will have noticed that they are strong, confident and bold with their message. You won’t find them apologizing or defending their position or opportunity.

Here is a great YouTube video by Ray Higdon about having Posture http://www.youtube.com

Closing Comments – 4 Basic Rules for Network Marketing Success

Not allowing yourself to be affected by an outcome, being yourself, having enthusiasm and passion, and finally, having a strong, unshakable posture will take some time to perfect.

Like anything in life, being aware of areas that could use improvement is the first step… then practice, practice, practice.

“There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.” ~ Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

“Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do, and that often means living outside the limits of one’s comfort zone.” ~ Jeff Olson, The Slight Edge
